Hospitality Reimagined
A new kind of destination. A different kind of experience.
Fields Cannary is more than a restaurant, more than a lounge, and more than a place to shop. It’s a destination designed around the things people love about going out: discovering something new, enjoying quality food and drinks, spending time with friends, meeting new people, and making memories worth repeating.
At the heart of Fields is a simple idea: cannabis can be part of a much bigger experience. One where great hospitality comes first, every detail has a purpose, and everyone has the freedom to make the experience their own.
Whether you’re joining us for dinner at Rooted, settling in at Amber Lounge, exploring Fields brands and products, or gathering with friends for a celebration, there’s more than one reason to come, and every reason to stay.
We believe the best experiences bring people together. They surprise you, make you feel welcome, and leave you looking forward to coming back.
That’s what we’re creating at Fields Cannary. Not just a new concept, but a new way to experience hospitality.
A little unexpected. A little elevated. A lot of fun.
Welcome to Fields Cannary.

Before you come
Everything people ask, answered once.
Where is Fields Cannary?
420 S Harvey St, Muskegon, MI 49442, on the west side of Michigan about forty minutes from Grand Rapids.
When does Fields Cannary open?
Fields Cannary opens in stages in November 2026. Amber Lounge and Fields Cannabis open first, then Rooted Restaurant. Every opening date goes to the email list first.
Is the food at Rooted Restaurant infused with cannabis?
No. Nothing on the Rooted Restaurant menu contains cannabis, and the kitchen never handles it.
Do I have to use cannabis to eat at Rooted Restaurant?
No. Rooted Restaurant is a farm-to-table restaurant for anyone 21 or older, whether or not cannabis is part of your night.
Where does the food come from?
West Michigan, as far as the season allows. Chef Coronado buys grain, honey, produce, dairy and meat from local farmers and ranchers, and works the gardens on the property into the menu.
Can people smoke in the restaurant?
No. Cannabis is consumed only in Amber Lounge, a separate room with its own entrance.
Is there a bar?
Yes. Rooted Restaurant pours beer, wine and spirits at the bar and at the table. Amber Lounge serves mocktails.
Why is the property 21 and over?
Because it is a cannabis property under Michigan law, and because the founders built it as an adult night out. Every room, including the restaurant, is adults only.
Can I bring my own cannabis?
No. Outside cannabis is not allowed on the property. Product enjoyed in Amber Lounge is purchased at Fields Cannabis, on site.
Can I shop at Fields Cannabis without eating or visiting the lounge?
Yes. Fields Cannabis is a full cannabis shop, and you can walk in on its own.
Is there parking?
Yes, on the property.
